The Ambassador Hotel! Oh, what a fun hotel with an amazing history! The Ambassador is located right outside of the downtown area at 23rd and Wisconsin, which means that it’s more than just a quick walk to restaurants and other downtown activities. Guest services are second to none, however, and there is a shuttle and limousine service available to make touring the city easy and enjoyable.

Our Ambassador Hotel underwent a huge reconstruction process almost 10 years ago, and has been restored to much of its original charm.

Back in its hay-day, it was quite impressive, however as that area deteriorated over the years, the hotel fell victim to all sorts of problems such as prostitution, and general neglect. Those who have lived in Milwaukee for many years, historically knew the Ambassador Hotel as a seedy place that you’d stay away from at all costs.

The current owners purchased the hotel and were dedicated to restoring it to as close to its original condition as possible. To say that they have succeeded is an understatement. Staying at this hotel is truly an upper class experience, and it is now considered to be one of the finest hotels in the city.

Prices range from $118 to $379 depending on the room choice and whether or not additional packages are purchased. The on-site dining includes one of Milwaukee’s finer restaurants, along with a wonderful lounge and café. If you’re looking for an upscale experience, this hotel may be the right one for you.
