What's HOT at Bradford Beach Milwaukee?

Aaaahhh...Bradford Beach Milwaukee! Still as popular today as it was when I was a kid, but a lot has been done to it to keep it fresh and exciting!

The snack bar was revitalized, there's a tiki-bar located right on the beach that plays current pop music throughout the day, there are many volleyball courts available for play, and there's even a special cabana chair rental right along the shore!

I was really excited to see the cabana chairs, which also seem to come equipped with sun shades that flip over them. Too cool! And for only $5 for the day, it's totally worth it!

This is THE beach in Milwaukee to go to! It’s a great place to hang out, picnic, sun bathe, spend time with family and friends, catch a volleyball game, or play a volleyball game, get a hot dog from one of the cart vendors...you get the point...Bradford Beach is just a nice, relaxing place to spend the day.

Over the last several years, volleyball leagues at the beach have become increasingly popular. More information can be found at the Milwaukee Social Club website (opens new window).

The Sheriff's Department monitors the beach and the surrounding area on foot, and has a trailor in the parking lot next to the beach. There's also a police presence along Lake Drive, so this area maintains its family friendly atmosphere. All in all, a great way to spend a beautiful summer day!
