Miller Brewery Tour

Ok, ok...I know what you're thinking...you're not coming to the tour for free beer, you're coming to learn all about the brewing process unique to Miller Beer that results in that fine tasting malty beverage. It's all about the eduction for you, right??

Yeah right! You're coming for the FREE BEER!!! Wooooooo Hooooo!!!

Ok, so perhaps it's not ALL about the free beer on the Miller Brewery Tour, although I have to admit that for many folks, it is about the free beer!

After all, as they say at the factory, "It's Miller Time!"

Here's the deal...there are tours running all day long, every day of the week during the summer months, and Monday through Saturday during the winter months.

My most recent tour was on a Friday afternoon with my Dad the week before Christmas, and there was only 4 of us in the group! What luck! Our tour guide, Jack, said that tours can accommodate up to 100 people per tour! Can you imagine? Personally, that would be a bit much for me. But I guess when the Cubs are in town playing the Brewers, you've got a party on your hands!

The tour is free, and no advanced notice or reservation is required! (Gotta love those deals.)

Unlike some factory tours, there's really quite a bit to see on this tour. You'll get to see the warehouse, the caves, the packaging center, and of course the Inn where you'll be sampling up to 3 different beers on tap that day. (Oh, and the tour starts with a video, that puts you in the mood for a Miller beer like you wouldn't believe!! Gives the term, 'subliminal advertising' a whole new meaning!)

If you're in town for a visit, or live in the city and have never been, put the Miller Brewery Tour on your list of things to do.
