The Milwaukee Public Library has all sorts of different activities available, many of which are specifically geared towards parents and children. There are play groups for toddlers and babies, finger plays, drama activities and story-telling for older children, and other such interesting presentations like Intro to Power Point, Starting a Small Business, drop in Job Help, Patents 101, Craft Workshops and Used Book Sales.
