The Milwaukee Rep

The Milwaukee Repertory Theater – one of Milwaukee’s professional theater companies - is a wonderful place to enjoy an evening at the theater!

I just attended Yankee Tavern which was held in the Quadracci Powerhouse Theater - the largest of the theaters available here. I purposely sat in the cheapest seats in the house - $15 per person which came to a total of $39 for 2 tickets with taxes and other misc fees. I wanted to get a sense for how well someone could see the play in these seats so I could tell all you fine people about it! (Interesting experiment, huh?) This picture below is taken from my seat in the balcony.

I have to say that I was surprised! The seats in the balcony are overall less expensive than the seats on the floor, but I would opt for sitting there again. The economy seats, located on the outer edges of the balcony, are considered to be the "economy seats", and I will definitely purchase these seats again!

I was able to see the stage perfectly, even sitting all the way along the outer edge of the balcony.

The Quadracci Powerhouse Theater is a beautifully designed theater! I think I would even prefer the economy seats because of how easy it was to see the entire stage, and how valuable the price was.

For less than the cost of a cheap meal out, I was able to get 2 tickets to a great cultural event that enriched my mind and soul to the very essence of my being...ok, I’m exaggerating A BIT...but I did thoroughly enjoy this night out, and I would highly recommend this theater to you! (Including the cheap seats!)

Oh, and by the way, the acting was phenomenal!

I purchased my tickets online and picked them up at the Box Office. I prefer leaving my tickets at the box office - it's always an easy pick up, and that way I don't have to keep track of them myself!
