The Rock Bottom Brewery Milwaukee

I love the Rock Bottom Brewery Milwaukee mostly because they have a kick a** (excuse my language) patio along the Milwaukee River that is awesome in the summertime!

But even better than that...they have a cod fish and chips that is one of the best fish fries that I’ve ever had...but even better than that is the fact that the Riverside Theater is less than a block away!

Now tell me this place doesn’t have everything!

Now the best part about this dinner is that it’s part of the regular menu, so you don’t have to wait until Friday to order it. AND the tartar sauce is outstanding!

It's the tartar sauce that really 'makes' the fish fry, wouldn't you agree??

Maybe it’s their own recipe? Who knows...it’s incredible! The coleslaw is made fresh as well. I highly recommend it!

I tried the deep fried cheese curds during this last visit, and they were incredible too! Highly recommended.

I’m a beer person, but I’m not as familiar with the beers available at the Rock Bottom Brewery Milwaukee. I did enjoy the sunshine...or sunrise...or sunset beer...maybe liquid sun?? I can’t remember what it was called, but it was light, crisp and refreshing! For those of you who want to try them all, they have this delightful little sampler of beers to help you decide on your favorite.

But the best part of Rock Bottom Brewery Milwaukee is that it is less than one block away from the Riverside Theater! YAY! I was able to park in their parking lot on Plankinton and Wells for $10, eat my meal, drink my drinks, and saunter over to the theater afterwards.

It was a perfect evening!

Oh! I almost forgot! I was there on a Wednesday evening in the summer, and they had a live music performance on the patio! Don’t know the performer's name, but he sang quite a few pop numbers, and he was really good! What a charming night.
